Emerging as a rising force in the Australian hip hop scene, proud 18-year-old Gomeroi artist, Kobi Dunks from Boggabilla in North West, New South Wales, is ready to make an impact.

Known for his smooth flow, meaningful storytelling, and deep connection to country and community, Kobi Dunks embodies authenticity in his music. His single “All In One,” is self produced, showcasing his growth as an artist, MC and producer thus far. This track highlights his smooth, soulful boom bap production and features empowering lyrics that offer listeners a glimpse into his evolution and skill set.
Kobi’s journey into music began in the parks of Boggabilla, where he would freestyle after school with his close friends and cousins. These formative moments ignited his passion as both a producer and a rapper, allowing him to express himself and pour his experiences into his art. Over the past two years, he has developed as a self-taught artist, driven by his creativity, family ties, and rich cultural heritage.
Currently part of “The Block Knox Studio Boggabilla”, Kobi Dunks is not only honing his unique sound but also mentoring younger members of his mob, fostering a collaborative and creative community that celebrates culture and connection as a mentor and facilitator at Knox Studio, Boggabilla.
Guided by mentors from Nakama Arts, Mad Proppa Deadly, P-Smurf, and esteemed storyteller Kobie Dee, Kobi Dunks continues to thrive as both an artist and a community leader. November 2024 marked a significant milestone in his journey as he and fellow artists Jeongii and Darrell Cee served as support acts for Barkaa & JK47, and playing to a sold out show at Nakama Arts Mixtape launch.
