07 Mar MIXTAPE VOL.1 LAUNCH NIGHT | WAYWARDS

After four years of dedicated groundwork, we are proud to finally share the culmination of our journey: the launch of our mixtape series, starting with Volume 1.

March 6th at Waywards (Newtown) wasn’t just a live gig, it was a movement. We are grateful and honoured to have talented mixtape artists grace the stage on the night from Minty, T Breezy, Akilaqui, Indi The Giant, Mali, (DJ), Yellowbelly Crew: Big Pal, Stephen Wilson, Jamaul Wright, Songline Session Crew: G.Rilla, T1llow, Reggie Brown, Knox Studio Crew: Kobi Dunk, Jeongii, and Darrel Cee,

The energy reached new heights with heavyweight performances from Kobi Dee, followed by a surprise mid-set appearance from Miss Kannina, and the incomporable Barkaa who completely brought the vibe to an extraordinary new level.

Audience Vibe Check….?

Packed! But more importantly, it was connected. This was a night defined by the raw, authentic power of our local hip hop scene, where stories were shared, culture was celebrated, and people from all walks of life came together to listen and learn. This night proved that when we create spaces for talented humans to share their truths, community evolves into more friendships, and purpose evolves into action.

This is just the beginning. Thank you to everyone who showed up and filled the room with such electric energy. Want to relive the magic? Head to our Facebook Page to see all the photos with thanks to photographer, Benjamin Weser.

We’ll see you at the next one!
