We are super excited to announce that Mali Nakalevu, took out the City of Sydney – Betty Makin Community Youth Award this year. Mali’s a regular participant in our projects ‘The Platform’ and ‘Open Studio’ sessions with Glebe Youth Service Inc.

Mali is a huge inspiration to all of us. Not only has she shown great perseverance to learn the ins and outs of electronic music production herself, she’s now sharing her knowledge with younger kids at the youth service.  Big congratulations Mali and well deserved!

Back in February we had Stephen Wilson join us in Sydney from Bourke, as well as Caleb Sutherland from Orange. Over a few days they worked on music and shot a video for their upcoming single!

Now we can finally share it with you – released on all streaming platforms, the new single ‘Shine’ is a reggae & rap fusion, guaranteed to make your day a little brighter.

Stephen has been working as an engineer and mentor at the Bourke SEWB studio alongside Lorraine Dutton. It’s been an absolute pleasure to watch Stephen grow as an artist over the past 6 months or so and this next song with Caleb Sutherland and P.Smurf is going to be another big step forward in his journey.

This was a massive achievement for everyone involved and we are so grateful to work with so many great talents!
A special thanks to:
Alan Gonzalez for producing the track.
Nicole Klaer & Chris Clark for creating the music video.
Joseph Clarke, Alex Clarke, David Clarke, Nulla Clarke & Jamaul Wright for being fabulous extras.

INQ. are officially the next artist in residence for ‘The Source’, kicking off next month at our studio in Surry Hills.

Recently our guy Adrians Wall Sound System let us in on the powerful work ABLE8 has been doing down in Melbourne and regional Victoria as a music program service provider, producer & engineer.

Working within youth justice centres, prisons, special learning schools & residential-care housing, Dave has been making a HUGE impact where it’s needed most!

We’re honoured to be in a position to assist Dave in continuing to roll out his programs by providing some updates on a bunch of his studio gear! Including an Audio-Technica Australia AT2040 broadcast microphone, a bunch of A-T headphones, some A-T content creator packs and an ALLEN & HEATH ZEDi-8 interface/mixer.

We’re super excited to announce we will be working with Mad Proppa Deadly to help activate their studio space at the Moree Sports Health Arts & Education Academy this year!

Mad Proppa Deadly have been doing incredible work in the area for years. We are so grateful to be able to assist them as they continue to provide much needed opportunities for the local community.
